Albert Lea golfers finish in top 25 at state

Two Albert Lea boys’ golfers competed in the Class AA state golf tournament this week and came out in the top one-third of finishers.

Sophomore Noah Teeter scored a total of 116 to tie for 20th place, while junior Archie Nelson scored 117 to tie for 24th place.

The winner was Jack Justesen of Hawley, who scored 105.

The tournament was shortened to a 27-hole meet due to rain on Wednesday.
