Ah summer! The best time of year. A time for baseball, swimming, gardening, long walks and concerts in the park. And, of course, picnics.

The Freeborn County Democratic Farmer Labor Party (DFL) is holding its annual Potluck Picnic at Pioneer Park (100 Hawthorne St., Albert Lea) June 20 at 6 p.m.
Everyone is asked to bring a dish to pass. Beverages, napkins and utensils will be provided.
