LaRita “Rita” Kay Eisenbise Chavez  was born September 4, 1949 to Leslie and Amanda (Rake) Eisenbise in Albert Lea, MN, and passed away peacefully at home on June 21, 2024 surrounded by her family in Las Vegas, NV.

Rita married the love of her life Dan Chavez on July 3, 1983 and raised their family in Las Vegas.

Rita is survived by her beloved husband Dan, daughters Samantha (Vince) Hobbs and Minzi Charles, grandchildren Zachary Hobbs, Chaz Hobbs, Braden Charles, Nathan Charles, Presley (Mike Overland) Charles, sisters Sharon Overland and Carmen (Thomas) Erickson. Rita was a special auntie to many nieces and nephews who loved her very much.

She was preceded in death by daughter Baby Stephanie Kay, parents Leslie and Amanda Eisenbise, sister Donna Light, brother Ron Eisenbise, brothers-in-law John Light and Dennis Overland.

A celebration of life will be July 14, 2024 at the Cannery Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
