Due to the extremely high water on Albert Lea Lake and water covering the Pelican Breeze II Dock and surrounding area, the Pelican Breeze Foundation has canceled all cruises for the upcoming July Fourth holiday.

The three cruises at noon, 4 p.m. and the fireworks cruise at 9 p.m.will not go out.

“We are sorry to disappoint the public on this holiday where many residents have family and friends in town,” the foundation board stated in a news release. “We look forward to cruising when the water has lowered and serving you for our Friday and Sunday public cruises and as always on our private cruises especially designed for you. Thank you for your understanding.”
