Seventh Street reconstruction: The sanitary sewer and watermain replacement has been completed and the contractor is replacing the sewer and water services to the property lines. If this week goes according to plan, crews will complete the storm sewer replacement which will conclude the underground utility portion of the project. They would then commence with digging and installing the new aggregate base for the street.
Winter Avenue reconstruction: The temporary water supply has been set up. The contractor plans to begin this week with pavement removal and sanitary sewer replacement.
Fairlane Terrace area: The contractor plans to finish removals for the curb replacement throughout the project area. Any affected driveways will have gravel put in for temporary access. The concrete subcontractor is scheduled to begin installing new curb the week of Aug. 5-9.
Spicer Road reconstruction: The new aggregate road base has been installed so that residents can have access to their driveways. The concrete subcontractor plans to begin installing the new curb at the same time that they are doing the concrete work in the neighborhood area.
Downtown alley reconstruction: Larson Contracting plans to begin work this week starting with the furthest south alley between Main Street and College Street.
Greenwood Drive resurfacing and sidewalk project: Ulland Brothers did some minor grading and cleanup work surrounding the new wall between the bridge and Hammer Road. The contractor does not have a definite schedule for returning to begin the bulk of the project, but anticipates starting near the end of August.
