Duplicate Bridge is played at 11:30 a.m. both Tuesday and Wednesday at the Austin Senior Center. The club is made up of bridge players from a 50-mile radius around Austin. Nine teams played on Tuesday, and winners were the following:

• First: Larry Crowe and Jim Fisher from Austin
• Second: John Leisen and Rick Stroup from Rose Creek
• Third: Joyce Kogel and Paul Hanson from Albert Lea
• Fourth: Vandy Newman and Ron Peters from Austin

Wednesday winners were all bunched up; seven teams played, and the top three teams were the following:

• First: Larry Crowe and Jim Fisher; scored 26 points from Austin
• Second: Vandy Newman and Ron Peters, scored 25 1/2 points, from Austin
• Third place tie: Gail Schmidt and Dave Ring; Stan Schultz and Tom Flaherty, scored 25 1/2 points, from Mason City
