She was united in marriage to Bill Veldman on May 10, 1945. They were both life-long residents of Hollandale. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma. Her freezer was always full of freshly baked goodies that her kids often enjoyed without her knowledge! Grandchildren and great-grandchildren enjoyed her “told-tookies” from her freezer.

Mom loved the Lord and that faith was shared with her children and grandchildren. She was a life-long member of the Hollandale Reformed Church, where she was active in the choir, Triple Trio Vocal Group, played the organ and piano, and participated in many of the women’s groups.
