Albert Lea, we have work to do! I just finished reading our Tribune, and my blood pressure rose. Mr. Hoffman gave his impression of the RNC. Congratulations on his experience. Please don’t call my DFL friends members of the Democratic Socialists or Democratic Communists. We are the voice of the middle class, and our future looks promising.
Another mistake was his mention of “Jan. 6 boogie monster.” I watched as it happened. It was real, and it was unbelievable. One of the major problems of the Republican Party is the “heads in the sand” attitude about many events and people these last few years.
On the same page, we have comments by Sorensen. Albert Lea teachers, where are your voices? I am proud of our public schools. It is true that I have been retired for a few years, but I am aware of what is happening. He claims that “our education system is broken, perhaps beyond repair. We no longer educate children, we indoctrinate them!” Free-thinking folks from Minnesota do not say that.
Sound off Democrats! We are not the silent majority!
And I too am proud to say I never voted for Trump!
