The National Weather Service has now confirmed a fifth tornado tied to the Monday storms that spread across south-central Minnesota.
The newest confirmed tornado was an EFO tornado that started southwest of Wells between 7:28 p.m. and 7:42 p.m.
It reportedly reached peak speeds of 80 mph and traveled 4.9 miles.
The Weather Service stated satellite imagery was used to determine the start and stop points and indicated that the tornado traveled mostly parallel to Minnesota Highway 109.
A few trees were uprooted or broken, though the tornado mostly moved across corn and bean fields.
Prior tornadoes were confirmed near St. James, Janesville, Otisco and between Twin Lakes and Emmons.
All of the other tornadoes were classified as EF1.
