Five-day week works best for everyone

As a student I disagree with the idea of switching to a four-day week. I see pros and cons to both sides but feel that longer weekends would lead to more crime. It would be in everyone’s best interest to stay at a five-day school week.
With longer school days it would be more likely to lose students concentration by the end of the day. Also, with sports practice after school, it would be way too long of a day. I think school days are already long enough.
There has to be many other ways to cut costs. We could get rid of the unneeded jobs in the school district. We could also limit the amount we spend on certain things for the school.
I think it would be more beneficial for students too stick to a five-day week. There is other ways to cut costs.
