Central Freeborn Lutheran Church will host a soup and dessert supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 23 at the church. Cost of the meal is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12 and free for children 5 and under. There will be wild rice soup, chili, potato and chicken noodle in addition to bread, dessert and ice cream, including gluten-free options. Proceeds from the event will benefit Foster Care Clothes Trailer and Hospice Support Foundation.

Foster Care Clothes Trailer is an organization that helps supply children in the foster system with clothes, luggage and other necessities in a safe environment.

Guests to the soup supper are invited to bring non perishable food items to the event to be donated to local food shelves.
