Building on the success of last year’s “100 Visits in 100 Days” campaign, the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the launch of its new initiative, “100 More in 2024.” This program continues the chamber’s commitment to fostering strong connections, promoting local businesses and advocating for its members throughout Freeborn County, according to a press release.
Over the course of 100 days, the chamber’s team will personally visit 100 member businesses, reinforcing the chamber’s dedication to supporting the growth and success of the local business community.
Objectives of the initiative of the following:
- Strengthen bonds: The chamber aims to deepen its relationships with member businesses by meeting them in their own environments, understanding their unique challenges and aspirations, and fostering a spirit of collaboration and support.
- Uncover opportunities: By conducting these visits, the chamber seeks to identify new opportunities for growth, innovation and development, offering tailored resources and support to each member business.
- Promote visibility: The campaign will continue to provide a platform for member businesses to showcase their products, services and contributions to the local economy, enhancing their visibility within the community and beyond.
- Advocate for members: Through these visits, the chamber will gain further insights into the needs and concerns of its members, strengthening its ability to advocate on their behalf and champion their interests at the local, state and federal levels.
To celebrate the success of this initiative, a video reel featuring photos from the visits and photos from all 100 visits will be compiled into a banner display, creating a visual representation of the community’s vibrancy and diversity. These will be presented at the chamber’s annual meeting Oct. 29, giving members a chance to see the impact of their participation and celebrate collective achievements. Each visit will also be highlighted with a Facebook post, showcasing the unique stories and contributions of member businesses.
“We are thrilled to continue the momentum from last year’s initiative,” said Jean Eaton, the chamber’s membership enhancement specialist. “By engaging directly with our members and visiting their businesses, we can better understand their needs and work together to drive success across Freeborn County. The ‘100 More in 2024’ campaign is a testament to our commitment to member-centricity and our dedication to fostering a thriving local economy.”
The Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce encourages all members to participate in this initiative and looks forward to another year of building strong, meaningful connections within the community.
