We Democrats like to come together, have fun, and support one another. With that in mind, you are invited to meet the Democratic candidate for Minnesota House 23A, Joe Staloch, at the Joe Freedom Fest celebration at Mine Again’s Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. There will be appetizers, great conversation, fun and the chance to meet Joe.

Joe grew up with his siblings on a Wells area family farm. Like many of our kids, he went off to college, graduated, and began working in St. Paul. He worked for Baywest for 10 years, protecting public health, natural resources and national security. Joe moved back to Albert Lea a few years ago and now works for Gigfire.

Joe plans to be a long-needed voice to find solutions for rural problems. He will work for better health care access, more jobs with better wages, better schools and badly needed money for infrastructure projects like our treatment plant.

Joe plans to advocate for the freedoms that we need and count on: to breathe clean air and drink clean water; freedom of speech; freedom to access health care; freedom from hate; freedom to vote; and the freedom to control your own body.

So, please come, meet Joe, and join the fun, Sept. 26.
