The school board is near and dear to my heart. My wife, Dr. Jill Marin, served faithfully and courageously for 16 years. I know what it takes to serve with integrity and to truly represent the students, families and staff of our local district.

My votes this year will be cast for Angie Hoffman and Kasey Wolters. Angie has served well her first term. She is astute, intelligent, caring, compassionate, a great researcher, an excellent business leader and serves with great courage. She is the one that I have observed on the board who is not afraid to ask the hard questions and to tackle difficult, controversial issues head on and with much grace. She has proven herself as a champion of the people on the board. Angie’s openness, approachability and humility have completely won my heart as a voter.

Kasey has stayed the course. After running last election cycle and not winning, she did not disappear as many do. She has remained fully engaged, attending meetings and serving faithfully in our community. She is well informed, an active parent and an upstanding business leader in Albert Lea. I believe Kasey will serve with all of her being in her representation. I have faith and full confidence in her.

I encourage you to join me in supporting these two outstanding citizens. Our entire community will receive fair and honest representation with these two.
