My Point of View by Brad Kramer

You value freedom of speech

Brad Kramer

When Elon Musk bought Twitter, we learned how much government has been suppressing freedom of speech. Many prominent Democrats like Hillary Clinton, Tim Walz and Kamala Harris have all been calling for a limit to freedom of speech. That is not how freedom of speech works. If you are not allowed to criticize government, you have no other rights, and if government places itself as the “fact-checker” or arbiter of truth, we are setting ourselves up for a totalitarian government. Hillary Clinton recently went so far as to say social media needs to be moderated or “we lose total control.”

Our parties have swapped values on several important issues

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK) was recently on Jordan Peterson’s podcast (episode 484) talking about his decision to join President Trump’s team to help Trump get elected, and his role on the Trump administration leading the cleanup of our healthcare crisis. He made many excellent points about his decision to join the Republican administration. He makes the case that the Democratic party has abandoned its most important issues and swapped what it stands for. The Republicans have become the party of free speech, anti-war and military industrial complex, and represents blue-collar and middle-class Americans. Many unions have either endorsed President Trump or decided to not endorse Vice President Harris, the first time in many years they have not endorsed a Democrat because their membership does not support the Harris-Walz ticket. RFK, Musk, Tulsi Gabbard and other moderates were an excellent trade for the awful war hawks like Dick and Liz Cheney and John Bolton.

President Trump’s record of success

President Trump had a wildly successful first term. Our economy was booming as manufacturing jobs came back to America, our military was strengthened dramatically while he was the first president in decades to not get us into new wars, we were energy independent, our border was more secure and many other wins. The best predictor of future behavior is a person’s history, and his history as president far outshines all metrics of the current Biden-Harris administration.

The team Trump brings to office

A Trump administration will include RFK leading the charge on America’s health crisis, Musk leading the dramatic reduction of government waste and bureaucracy that has us in a stranglehold of our bloated government, and many other moderate Democrats who have left the far-left’s insanity, including Gabbard, former vice-chair of the Democratic National Committee. His cabinet is likely to include many other effective Republicans like Vivek Ramaswamy, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, and Dr. Ben Carson.

The border

Our country’s border is a significant threat to our safety and quality of life. With no knowledge of who is coming into our country due to the open border policies the Biden-Harris administration has overseen, with Vice President Harris acting as the Border Czar and “leading” the border crisis. Over 13,000 violent criminals have attempted to enter the U.S. and been apprehended by Border Patrol agents in 2024, an increase of almost 10,000 from 2019. With tens-of-thousands of illegal immigrants having histories of serious violence or terrorist ties, and bringing gang violence, fentanyl, human trafficking, and other criminal acts into our nation, with many more evading Border Patrol.

Global stability

Under President Trump, we had peace in the Middle East with the monumental Abraham Accords, peace through strength, and relationships with countries like Russia, China, North Korea and Iran being managed by a president who knew how to negotiate and put America first. We’re now in the middle of some of the most unstable global politics in generations due to inept leadership.

The economy

Americans are feeling the failure of the current Biden-Harris policies in our personal budgets. Food, energy, housing and other critical supplies families need to survive have gone through the roof, taxes are going up and inflation is killing the dollar and causing hardships. President Trump’s economy was on fire (in all the right ways, unlike the current dumpster fire), with Americans being better off financially in every aspect until COVID lambasted the global economy.

The utter failure of Hurricane Helene response

FEMA has utterly failed American citizens in the wake of Hurricane Helene, claiming hundreds of lives. FEMA’s budget has been decimated due to the open border, so much so that we can’t even take care of our own citizens. President Trump, Musk and JD Vance have all been on the ground in that region taking care of our fellow Americans while President Biden naps on a beach and Harris campaigns.

These are only a few of the many reasons our country needs to vote Republican down the ticket, (re)electing Rep. Peggy Bennett, Congressman Brad Finstad, President Donald Trump and JD Vance as vice president. Let’s get back to winning!
