Can someone please explain this to me:

On Aug. 13, 2024, the Department of State announced that the U.S. had approved a $20 billion weapons package sale to Israel, which included fighter jets and advanced air-to-air missiles.

And “Biden-Harris Administration provides more than $20 million to Hurricane Helene survivors.” Oct. 3, 2024

This is information that I googled online. I don’t want a discussion on what the previous administration has done for this country; I’m talking about the Federal Administration today.

I would like to know why our Federal Administration gives more money to foreign countries than the people to the United States. Shouldn’t we be taken care our own before other countries?
