The city of Albert Lea reports the following project updates for this week:

• Marshall Street: This week the contractor continued replacing the sanitary sewer and water mains between Bridge Avenue and Ramsey Street. Crews will finish utilities this week and begin replacing services to properties.
• Greenwood Drive: The contractor paved the street Monday, and is installing sod in the boulevards. Crews will finish the sod next week and reinstall the mailboxes. Next will be road striping.
• Winter Avenue: This week crews installed the sidewalk and driveway aprons. Next week they will complete the rock base, followed by the first of two asphalt layers.
• Downtown alleys: This week the contractor continued replacement of the east/west portion of the alley between Clark Street and Elizabeth Avenue. Crews plan to complete this work early next week, leaving only minor corrective items.
