Trunk or Treat at Albert Lea Family YMCA

Join the Albert Lea Family YMCA for a special trunk or treat event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the YMCA parking lot. Those interested in decorating a trunk should contact ymca@ymcaal.org.

Creepy Doll Scavenger Hunt 

The Freeborn County Historical Museum, Library & Village will host its annual creepy doll scavenger hunt from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the museum. The lights will be dimmed as guests enter the museum to view the creepiest dolls in the collection by flashlight. Participants will try to find all the dolls that are hidden. This is a free community event.

Murder mystery dinner party

Enjoy a night of fun and mystery with the seventh annual murder mystery dinner party Saturday at the Beehive Ballroom at Worth Brewing Co. This will be a parody of the classic game Clue, and costumes are optional. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. with the first act beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m. There will be a multicourse meal served. Cost for the event is $75 per person or $500 for a table of eight with proceeds going toward Hotel Winifred projects. Call 641-390-0474 for tickets.

Halloween costume party 

Stop by Emmons American Legion Post 317 for Halloween fun from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday. Come dressed in costume for the chance to win prizes and enjoy drink specials and drawings throughout the night.

Bonnerup Trunk or Treat

Bonnerup Funeral & Cremation Services will host a kid-friendly trunk or treat event from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Bonnerup parking lot. This will be a free event, but donations are welcome and will benefit the United Way Welcome Pantry. Those interested in decorating a vehicle can reserve a spot by calling the Bonnerup office at 507-373-2461.
