The latest MAGA lie claims they have a mandate. Here are a few views of a mandate. The 2020 presidential popular vote for president was Biden 81,268,924 (51.31%) to Trump’s 74,216,154 (46.86%). A mandate.

The second example is the US Senate’s 2nd Trump impeachment vote for “incitement of insurrection” for the coup attempt by Trump’s violent mob – 57 Senators for impeachment and 43 against.

The third example of a mandate is the 2024 Minnesota US Senate race. DFL incumbent Klobucher 1,792,327 (56.3%) to MAGA White’s 1,291,697 (40.5%). Klobucher won 20 counties, most of which were rural. A lot of blue out in the rural areas for the DFL to build on.

The fourth example of a mandate is the Minnesota 2024 presidential vote. Harris/Walz 1,656,968 (51.1%) to Trump/Vance 1,519,020 (46.9).

Now let us look at what is not a mandate. The last presidential election: Harris/Walz 48.25% and still increasing vs Trump/Vance 49.87% and still decreasing. At least another 350,000 votes need to be counted in California. According to the Cook Report, the final tally will show approximately a 1.5% edge for Trump on the popular vote.

Right now it looks like Democrats will win 215 seats in the House plus 47 Senate seats.

Project 2025 continues to be the only agenda for the MAGAs. Every nook and cranny of the 900-page Project 2025 agenda are specific details on how to carry out violent acts against most humans living in America. For example, the violent act of ending the poverty program safety nets. Ending head start. Ending Obamacare. Ending original Medicare.

Mr. Hoffman’s recent column calls Gov. Walz and Lt. Gov. Flanagan communists, plus he writes Walz is a “non-traditional and very uncommon governor … maniacs like Tim Walz …” Where have I seen that kind of name calling before? Oh yeah, when the MAGA mob attacked the Capitol police, calling them Nazis, Marxists and pigs. The Capitol police!

Looks like Hoffman has been listening to the right-wing Christian Nationalist HUTU radio stations. This is not Rwanda, Mr. Hoffman.
