A room at Quality Inn, 2306 E. Main St., was reported broken into at 10:51 a.m. Wednesday. Damage was also reported to other rooms.
Burglary reported
Police received a report at 10:21 a.m. Tuesday of a potential burglary at 1112 Columbus Ave.
Fence damaged, cattle injured
Deputies received a report at 12:33 p.m. Tuesday of a fence that was damaged and cattle that appeared to have been shot with an air gun at 23342 685th Ave. in Alden.
Juvenile cited for assault, disorderly conduct
Police cited one juvenile for fifth-degree assault and another for disorderly conduct at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday at Albert Lea High School.
1 arrested on warrant
Police arrested Christopher John Krom, 50, on a local warrant at 7:22 p.m. Wednesday at 2301 E. Main St.
Theft by fraud reported
Police received a report at 8:25 a.m. Thursday that someone was fraudulently using an Albert Lea resident’s hotel rewards in San Diego, California.
1 arrested for possession
Police arrested Steven John Ellingson, 62, for fifth-degree possession and possessing ammunition as a prohibited person at 8:38 a.m. Thursday at 517 Triangle Drive.
School bus stop arm violation reported
Police received a report at 2:12 p.m. Thursday of a school bus stop arm violation that happened at 7:53 a.m. that morning near the intersection of West Clark Street and Euclid Avenue.
Vehicles rummaged through
A car was reported rummaged through at 5:12 p.m. Thursday in the parking area off of WIlson Street. About $10 in change was taken.
A vehicle was reported rummaged through at 6:56 p.m. Thursday at 802 E. 18 1/2 St.
Police received a report at 3:39 p.m. Thursday of a vehicle that was rummaged through and tools were stolen at 83092 290th St. in Hollandale.
Shoplifting reported
Police received a report at 6:43 p.m. of a theft of almost $800 that occurred at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., at about 3 p.m.
Machine damaged at laundromat
A padlock was reportedly cut off a coin machine at the laundromat at 8:45 a.m. Thursday at 309 Fenton Ave. Parts of the machine were on the floor and the dollar collector was gone.
