Santa and Mrs. Claus

Stop over and see Santa Bob and Mrs. Claus from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at 622 W. Richway Drive in Albert Lea. Tell them what you want for Christmas and even take a photo. This is a free event open to all.

Auxiliary breakfast

Albert Lea American Legion Post 56 will host its monthly breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Legion. This event will be hosted by The Auxiliary, and they will also have a bake sale. French toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, biscuits and gravy, juice and coffee will be served. The cost of the meal is $12 with the cost for children age 6 and under $4.

Emmons Legion Christmas party

Join Emmons American Legion Post 317 for a Christmas party from 7 p.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday at the Legion. Albert Lea-based musician Shane Christensen will provide live music, and guests are encouraged to wear their ugliest Christmas sweater.

Christmas Market in Northwood

The city of Northwood will host its annual Christmas Market this week at the Worth County Community of Promise building downtown. It will be open from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. There will be many fun and unique gifts available for purchase.

Free movie ‘The Grinch’

There will be a free showing of the movie “The Grinch” (2018) at 1 p.m. Saturday at The Mills Theater in Lake Mills. The movie is rated PG.
