Interstate 35 has reopened to traffic north of Albert Lea.

Original story:

Interstate 35 southbound is closed four miles north of Albert Lea between Minnesota Highway 251 and 235th Street as authorities investigate a crash.

Southbound traffic is being diverted from I-35 in Owatonna at Highway 14, to Highway 218, Interstate 90 and then back to I-35.

I-35 is expected to be closed through about 10 p.m.
