Georgann Kay Trytten

In Loving Memory of Georgann Kay Trytten who passed away December 3, 2024 after a year-long battle with cancer. Georgann was born on November 11, 1948 to George and Floy Olson of Albert Lea, MN. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1967. She married George Warner in 1967 and the couple was blessed with a daughter, Theresa. After the marriage ended, Georgann later married Richard Trytten on December 4th, 1976 at 1st Lutheran Church in Glenville. They made their home in Gordonsville MN.
Georgann worked in manufacturing with her tenure at Ventura Foods of Albert Lea. Georgann also attended Riverland Community College where she received a culinary certification. Georgann was a gifted cake maker, crafter and artist. These hobbies gave her a great amount of joy.
Georgann and Richard moved to Bovey Minnesota in 2001 where she worked at a manufacturing position. She moved back to Glenville following Richard’s death and her retirement in 2011. She spent her retirement crafting and spending time with her friend and caregiver Sandy Dahlum.
Georgann is survived by her daughter Theresa Alberts (Jacques) of Amity Oregon, grandsons Deryk Espelien of Grand Bay, Alabama, Wyatt Epselien (Laura Gingritch) of Moorhead, Minnesota and sister Gloria Olson of Albert Lea, brother Mark (Paula) Olson of Gordonsville, and sister Tami (Danny) Davidson of Stanwood, Washington as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Trytten, parents George and Floy Olson, her mother in-law Gwen Trytten and father in-law Ferlando Trytten, sister Julie Manual and brother Micheal Olson, as well as many aunts and uncles.
Georgann’s life will be celebrated on December 28th from 1-4 pm at 1st Lutheran Church Glenville.
