Donald Jacobson

Donald Henry Jacobson, born June 8, 1935, to Henry and Evelyn Jacobson, was called to his tee time on the Heavens 18 on New Years Day 2025.

Don grew up in Albert Lea, Minnesota, and always dreamed of having a cabin on a lake up nort’, which is exactly where he spent his last days. Dad was a lineman for Freeborn Mower Electric Coop and later Northern States Power. He loved to golf and play cards with friends.

Don is survived by his daughter, Sheila (David) Rice, and son, Gary, along with grandchildren, Brianna (Nick), Zachary, Andrew (Rosi), Hannah (Vincent) and Adam.

He was preceded in death by wives, Lila and Joan, and grandson, Ian.

A celebration of life will be held in Albert Lea, MN, later this spring.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Pine River.
