As we step into another busy year, I’d like to give a mountain of appreciation to our city staff. The streets and parks crews are always up for helping bring our events and projects to fruition. We bring the art or decorations, and the city crews grab the ball from there. They maintain, store, install, remove and repeat. We get a lot of clout for putting on great events, or having a beautiful downtown, but that would absolutely not be the case if it weren’t for the parks and streets crews supporting our projects every step of the way! And don’t get me started on the watering and plant care that’s put in during the warmer months! One more shout out to the administrative team for helping us hurdle safety and logistics for all the events throughout the year! Cheers city of Albert Lea — we are a big fan!
