Fires reported
Firefighters responded to a report of a fire that had spread into a goat pasture while a resident was burning garbage at 12:33 p.m. Wednesday at 70353 255th St. in Alden.
A ditch was reported on fire at 3:21 p.m. Wednesday at 82578 320th St. in Ellendale.
1 turns self in on warrant
John Suchanek, 18, reportedly turned himself in on a warrant at 5:03 p.m. Wednesday at 411 S. Broadway.
Shoplifters reported
Two shoplifters were reported at 8:18 a.m. Tuesday at 1210 E. Main St.
A shoplifter was reported at 2:19 p.m. Wednesday at 1550 Blake Ave.
Juveniles cited at middle school
Police cited a juvenile for possession of marijuana under 21 at 12:31 p.m. Tuesday at 1601 W. Front St.

Packages reported stolen
Two packages were reported stolen at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday at 513 Wedgemore Drive.
Sculpture damaged
A sculpture was reported damaged at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday near the parking lot at 501 W. Richway Drive.
Damage reported at house
Police received a report at 11:48 p.m. Tuesday of a male who kicked in a door and broke out a window on a house at 501 1/2 Hillhaven.
Theft by fraud reported
Police received a report of theft by fraud of a person’s debit card at 11:09 a.m. Wednesday. The card was used at a handful of Albert Lea businesses.
Hit-and-run reported
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 3:38 p.m. Wednesday at 1550 Blake Ave.
Counterfeit bill reported
Police received a report at 11:12 p.m. Wednesday of a counterfeit $100 bill from a person who had come into the Law Enforcement Center.
