Albert Lea is rolling out the red carpet for an unforgettable Galentine’s Day celebration during The Big Freeze Winter Festival on Feb. 8. It will be an afternoon and evening of fun, self-care and community connection for women in the heart of historic downtown Albert Lea.

From 3 to 7 p.m., participating downtown businesses will treat visitors to a variety of delightful experiences, including free samples, treats, games, prizes and self-care activities. Whether you’re looking to pamper yourself, shop with your squad or just soak in the vibrant atmosphere, this event is all about celebrating you, according to a press release.

The Big Freeze Winter Festival will begin earlier in the day, and then after the festivities, people can top off their evening with dinner and drinks at one of Albert Lea’s restaurants. The day culminates in a live music performance at The 112 on Broadway starting at 8:30 p.m.
