Motorists and pedestrians will need to detour around part of Bridge Avenue starting Tuesday while the city of Albert Lea repairs underground utilities.

Bridge Avenue will be closed south of the Marshall Street intersection to Ruble Avenue. Drivers should follow the detour on Marshall, Sibley, East Main and Wilson streets.

This section of Bridge Avenue will be closed from early morning Tuesday until further notice. Follow the “City of Albert Lea – City Hall” on Facebook or Instagram for updates.
