In less than 10 days, our great President Trump has started much needed reforms in many areas. Now Congress has to cut U.S. spending and balance the U.S. budget for our great republic.
President Trump has pardoned the Jan. 6, 2021, patriotic protesters who got swept up in actions and were harshly dealt with by the deep state types in Washington, D.C.
President Trump appointed a young veteran from Forest Lake to reform the Defense Department — a great move. (I met Pete Hegeseth in 2012 when he ran for the Minnesota U.S. Senate seat.)
President Trump needs to work to end waste, such as the DEI waste in government and foster merit and ability in government workers. N.G.O. spending needs to be ended or better targeted.
Congress can vote no government funds to noncitizens in the U.S. and bill countries of origin for return costs and our border wall costs.
A strict guest worker program aimed at temporary agriculture, nursing homes and very high tech workers with U.S. private sponsors, medical insurance and bonds to cover any other costs for guest workers who are fully vetted before being allowed in the U.S.
Around 80 of 87 Minnesota counties voted for Trump. Our new president has put governors of North and South Dakota in his cabinet. Let us all join to lower costs in the U.S., particularly for energy, and cut excess regulations and taxes for all Americans to MAGA.
Thanks,
Tom Schleck
