Owatonna police investigate 2 stabbings

Police officers responded to two stabbings Monday in Owatonna, one at 153 22nd St. and one in the Eagles parking lot at 141 E. Rose St.
According to a news release, at about 1 p.m. officers were called to the first address on 22nd Street, where upon arrival they found a victim who had sustained multiple stab wounds to his body.
A short time later, other officers who responded to the 22nd Street address were flagged down to the Eagles parking lot by a woman who was transporting a second person to the hospital in her automobile. This victim also sustained multiple stab wouds to his body, the release stated.
Both victims were transported to the Owatonna Hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance and were later airlifted to Rochester, according to the release. Both the victims and the suspects have been identified, and the police department is investigating one other unknown person who may be a person of interest in the case.
