This is the year the VFW Post and Auxiliary conduct the annual offering of “Buddy Poppies” to the public. There were post and auxiliary members and also young folks moving about Albert Lea offering these to the public. All money received from this was used for the veterans and their families. This year with so many servicemen having deployed the group feels they will be asked to help more than ever before.
