These area students have been named to the fall 2008 semester dean’s list at Northwestern College in St. Paul. The dean’s list includes students with a semester grade-point average of 3.65 or higher.

Included were: Merissa L. Kittleson, daughter of Roland and Kelly Kittleson of Blooming Prairie, with highest honors; Jonathan C. Leland, of Bricelyn, with honors; Rebecca J. Leland, daughter of Carter and Yvonne Leland of Wells, with highest honors; Heidi M. Pechacek, daughter of Peggy Pechacek of Albert Lea, with honors.

Area students on SMSU fall semester dean’s lists

Area students attending Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall have been honored for achievement during the fall 2008 semester.

Derek Peterson of Alden earned high honors for earning a grade-point average of 3.8 or better.

Kendra Olchefske of Albert Lea earned honors for earning a grade-point average between 3.5 and 3.79.
