United South Central’s Hannah Goemann placed fourth Friday in the 800-meter run preliminaries at the Class A girls’ state track and field meet at Hamline University in St. Paul.

Goemann entered the race as the No. 4 seed and finished the 800 meters in two minutes and 19.37 seconds.

Goemann raced in the finals on Saturday.
