Rebel softball takes down Madelia/Truman

The United South Central softball team scored six runs in the bottom of the third inning to cruise to a 11-1 win over Madelia/Truman on Thursday in Wells.
Junior Ali Ramsley got the win, as she threw 5 strong innings and struck out eight.
Shelby Wiederhoeft took the loss for Madelia/Truman.
Weiderhoeft allowed six hits and walked two and didn’t record a strikeout.
At the plate, Carly Peterson, Ali Ramsley and Karissa Isaacs all recorded two hits a piece for USC, while the Rebels didn’t have a batter strikeout all game.
USC plays on Saturday at Caswell Park in Mankato against LCWM at 11 a.m.
