Bulldog boys cruise in 82-54 win over Eagles

Chris Throne hit another five 3-pointers Saturday and finished with 29 points as the Lake Mills boys’ basketball team cruised to an 82-54 win against North Sentral Kossuth in Swea City.
The Bulldogs (6-6) knocked off the Eagles (8-4) with a strong first half that had Lake Mills leading 55-28 at halftime.
The Bulldogs started strong in the first quarter, scoring 28 points to take a 28-9 lead, as they rolled to their fifth straight win.
Tyler Rice added 14 points while Marcus Gaskill had 13 rebounds and Alex Grunvold had 11 assists in the blowout win.
Lake Mills is back in action Tuesday when the Bulldogs travel to face Belmond-Klemme.
