Editorial: Good job, Minn. Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings have made it to the playoffs for the first time since the 2004 season and captured a division title for the first time since 2000.

It’s been an awkward season — with the Vikings posting a dismal 1-3 record before turning things around, with the headaches of turnovers late this season, with the continual wondering over the future of the Williams Wall — but no successful sports season is complete without some intriguing plot lines.

Congratulations to running back Adrian Peterson for being the NFL’s leading rusher.

Most of all, congratulations to the Vikings for winning a division title. We wish you good luck in the playoff game Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles at the Metrodome.
