Weekend Planner: Barber shop concert rescheduled

The sounds of Christmas will come alive in four-part harmony as the Harmony Junction Christmas Chorus presents its annual Christmas shows on Sunday. These concerts are rescheduled from last Sunday.
The group will perform at 3 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea and at 7 p.m. at St. Theodore Catholic Church. There is no charge to attend, but an offering will be taken at each performance with proceeds going to the Community Mentor Connection.
There are 28 singers in the Christmas chorus under the direction of Ken Keene of Harmony. The quartet, Escalade, will also perform.

Friday, Dec. 26
The Albert Lea Art Center’s Festival of Trees will be open from noon to 4 p.m.
Youth for Christ Mini Golf will be open at Northbridge Mall from 7 to 9 p.m. Cost is $5 per person.
Saturday, Dec. 27
The Albert Lea Art Center’s Festival of Trees will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 28
American Legion Post 56 will host a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, potatoes, juice and coffee will be served. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 10.
