Child injured after crash

A 6-year-old child received minor injuries Tuesday after he reportedly cut in front of a car while on a bicycle, according to police.
Steven Edward Bergstrom, 6, received minor injuries to his elbow and face following a crash north of the railroad tracks north of the Blazing Star Trail.
Police stated driver Beth Ann Beddow, 53, of Albert Lea was driving on Garfield Avenue near the trail when she approached a couple kids on bikes. As she got closer, one of the kids cut in front of her, and she reportedly clipped the rear tire of the bike, causing the bike to fall down.
The incident reportedly took place at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Window broken out
A window was reported broken out at the Glenville Shortstop, 611 S. Highway 65 at 4:56 a.m. Tuesday, according to reports.
House broken into
A house at 611 Ulstad Ave. was reported broken into on Tuesday. Items taken included an Xbox and lock box with jewelry.
Graffiti reported on building
Graffiti was reported on a building at 920 S. Broadway Ave. at 1:54 p.m. Tuesday, according to reports.
Car door keyed
The left passenger door of a vehicle was reported keyed at 1210 E. Main St. at 7:11 p.m. Tuesday, according to reports. The incident reportedly took place sometime between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, according to reports The incident was reported to police at 7:11 p.m. Tuesday. Damage was estimated at $500.
