The Lake Mills baseball team opened the season with a 7-4 victory against West Fork Monday in Sheffield, Iowa.

Levi Dahle went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Bulldogs (1-0) and Chris Throne went 1-for-2 with an RBI.

Throne got the victory on the mound after he went five innings, allowed three runs, two earned, on four hits, and struck out eight.

Lake Mills faces Rockford Wednesday in a doubleheader in Rockford.
