Here are highlights in history for June 26, gleaned from the files of the Albert Lea Tribune:
1993 — One of the columnists featured on the editorial page of the Tribune was Robert W. Brincefield, the newspaper’s publisher.
1983 — Graduation ceremonies for 170 graduates of Albert Lea Area Vocational Technical Institute were held at L.J. Emmons Auditorium.
1973 — Architectural plans for the new Naeve Hospital on Grove Avenue were available for public consideration. Construction was scheduled to start in the fall.
