Burglaries reported

Sunday at 12:03 a.m. the Albert Lea Police Department received a report of burglary at 1117 Richway Dr. East, Albert Lea. The window was broken and it was believed someone had been inside, but nothing was noted missing.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary report Friday at 3:49 p.m. at 17743 750th Ave., Albert Lea. A report was filed.

Friday at 4:07 p.m., the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary report at 72257 220th St., Albert Lea.

Albert Lea police responded to a report of burglary Friday at 1:09 p.m. at 1818 Brookside Dr., Albert Lea. Damage was reported to the back garage door.

Albert Lea police responded to report of burglary at 2338 Larson Ave. at 1:29 p.m. on Friday.

The Albert Lea Police Department responded to an attempted burglary Friday at at 3:34 p.m. at 1610 Gateway Drive, Albert Lea.

Man arrested for assault

Sunday at 1 a.m., William Lee Conley was arrested on 5th degree assault at 102 1 Ave. South.

Criminal damage reported

Sunday at 7:58 a.m., criminal damage property was reported at 821 Plaza St., Albert Lea. Police reports state a window was reported smashed out of a pickup while parked at the Best Western, and a checkbook was stolen.

Friday at 8:27 a.m., the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office responded to criminal damage of property at 107 Washington St. West, Hollandale.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of criminal property damage at 400 Fifth Ave. in Freeborn, at 12:04 p.m. Sunday. A window was reported broken from the inside out, doors were checked and a report was filed.

At 5:22 p.m. on Sunday, Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reported to a report of criminal property damage at 23087 State Hwy. 13, Albert Lea. It was reported a car window was broken into.

Four thefts reported

Friday at 12:14 p.m., Albert Lea police responded to a theft report at 2001 Main St. East, Albert Lea. A wallet was reportedly stolen from a pickup.

Sunday at 12:20 p.m., Albert Lea police responded to a theft report at 422 Euclid Ave. Cash was reported stolen from a purse.

Friday at 2:14 p.m., Albert Lea police responded to a theft report at 2025 Brookside Dr., Albert Lea. A laptop was reported stolen from a car.

At 3:23 p.m. Friday, Albert Lea police reported to a theft report at The Fairway and Lakeview Blvd. where the battery and gas tank were reportedly stolen off a pontoon and taken off a jet ski.

Juveniles broke windows

Sunday at 1:48 p.m., Albert Lea police responded to a report of kids breaking windows at Fourth St. Eeast and Newton Ave. South.

Two arrested for DWI’s

Saturday at 1:35 p.m., a routine traffic stop for the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office turned into the arrest of Billy Allen Pierce, 52, arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Albert Lea police cited Shawn Nicholas Biggens, 20, Saturday at 2:50 a.m. for 4th degree driving while intoxicated and illegal consumption.

Woman arrested on warrant

Jill Marie Woodside, 22, was arrested by the Albert Lea police department during a routine traffic stop at Garfield Ave. and Ramsey St. in Albert Lea on Saturday at 11:59 p.m. on an Olmsted County warrant.

Person injured in traffic crash

Friday at 4:36 p.m., the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office responded to a traffic crash at the Freeborn School. A subject was reportedly taken to the emergency room due to a four-wheel accident took place on the football field.

Women cited

Saturday at 12:48 a.m., Debra Kay Gaul, 53, was cited for public nuisance by Albert Lea Police at 611 Albert Lea Street.
